Vikings Announce 2025-26 Captains
The Western Washington University Vikings ice hockey team has announced captains for the 2025-26 season, headlined by Patrick Pierson, who has been named team captain. The senior forward from Redmond, W.A is entering his fifth year with the Vikings, and is a double major at Western in computer science and physics.
“As a man of many talents and majors, it comes as no surprise that Patrick is captain for the season,” junior defenseman Nicholas Saway said. “ Especially being number 26.”
The Vikings have also named senior forward Jackson Wojcicki and junior forward Bret Brumbaugh as assistant captains, both of which will be serving their second-straight years in the role.
