Vikings Sweep Weekend over WSU and Idaho

The Western Washington University Vikings Ice Hockey team won all three games in Moscow, ID this past weekend, winning two games over the Washington State Cougars, 4-3 on Friday and 7-2 on Saturday. They also took one game over the Idaho Vandals in dominating fashion on Sunday 11-1.

The team improves to 8-1-0 on the season, subsequently improving to 7-1-0 in PAC-8 play, remaining in first place with 14 points.

The Vikings return home this weekend for two games at Bellingham Sportsplex against the Gonzaga Bulldogs, with Friday’s game starting at 9:30pm and Saturday’s starting at 9:45pm.
